Parkloma All natural frozen African Yam slices (Also known as True Yam, Puna Yam or Ghana Yam). These yam slices are made from farm fresh African yams. Yams are peeled, sliced and fresh frozen with no preservatives.
To cook: Place frozen yams in boiling water with a little salt and cook until soft. No need to thaw the yams as they can be cooked while frozen. Check for softness with a fork while the yams are cooking. Once the yams are soft (i.e your fork goes through easily), stop cooking and serve.
Yams can be eaten with a sauce, eggs or even cubed and made into truly natural pounded yam with the use of a food processor. They can also be used to make a yam porridge.
SAFE HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS: Keep frozen until preparing for consumption. Do not thaw and refreeze.
